Friday, August 30:

• 8am Plogging the Waterfront – You’re invited to take part in Keep Key West Beautiful and Plogging the Keys’ town clean up. Join us for 1 hour picking up litter this week at Greene Street, Simonton Street and other areas in Old Town.
• 9am Bloody Mary Brunch BUFFETT at the Farm – Buffet brunch hosted in the air-conditioning comfort of the Conch Republic Seafood Company overlooking the historic seaport. Enjoy a vast array of delicious food and bottomless bloody marys and mimosas. There will be trop rock music and free leis!
• 11am State of Florida Jimmy Buffett Day Proclamation – Reading at Shrimp Boat Sound Studios, Lazy Way
• 11am-7pm Sloppy Joe’s Sloppy Hoppy IPA Launch Party – Cool off with a refreshing Sloppy Hoppy IPA, the newest addition of exclusively curated draught beers and spirits. Live Entertainment all day on the Sloppy Joe’s Stage, Beer Bingo benefiting Key West Sunrise Rotary via the Sloppy Joe’s Foundation plus Sloppy Hoppy IPA samples, prize giveaways and more.
• 12 pm Just a Few Friends Walking Tour – 90 minute guided walking tour taking you to some of the most celebrated Key West haunts frequented by our favorite son over his expansive history here. • 1-4pm Belly Flop Pool Party – with Islamorada Brewing at Southernmost Beach Resort
• 3-7pm Biergarten – at 24 North (food, beer, live music, games, pool party)
• 4pm Tribute Concert and Cheeseburger Beach Battle – Doors at 4, Contest starts at 5 o’clock | Concert starts at 6. Just A Few Friends Key West Favorite Son Celebration, and Southernmost Beach Resort presents national touring tribute band, “Buffett’s Margaritaville – Legendary Tribute to Jimmy Buffett” will perform LIVE on the beach while you try some of the best cheeseburgers Key West has to offer. Vote for your favorite to crown the best burger with cheese in a tropical place! Tickets are $20 for entry and an extra $10 if you want to sample the burgers and vote. Bring a low chair if you’d like, and don’t forget your flip flops!

• 9:30am Trop Rock Island Tour Key Lime Bikes – Join us on a tropical escape as we pedal through the colorful streets of Key West on an Trop Rock inspired themed Bicycle tour! Dress up in your best tropical attire and embark on a journey filled with island rhythms and tropical breezes!
